My own journey has been filled with ups and downs. From foster care to adoption, I’ve been through it all, following the rules society laid out, only to be hit hard by life’s challenges. Back in 2015, while I was expecting my first child, the storm of financial troubles hit my family. Bills piled up, the mortgage became a burden, we had to let go of a vehicle, and our spending outweighed our earnings, plunging us deep into debt.

What’s truly inspiring is that my family and I managed to conquer a whopping $21,000 in consumer debt in just 13 months! All the while, we continued to savor the things we loved, like dining out and going on vacations. It was during this transformative journey that I discovered my calling – helping others achieve their financial goals and dreams.
